With the advancement of technology in the New Media Age, there have been many fun developments to make our communication on the virtual world more fun and intriguing. One of those fun tools are Gifs. Gifs are basically an image file format that is animated by combining several other images or frames into a single file. Gifs have populated the Internet on blogs and social media, and are part of what makes news and entertainment sites like Buzzfeed very popular, fun and engaging. You can insert a gif on almost every social network today, and there are many tools and website you can use to get gifs or either create your own. I used the website Giphy, to create a gif visual of our New Media Age today and some of the most popular and used technologies and social sites that we use today. It somewhat shows the progress from the old age to the new media age and how far we have come in the digital age; as far as communication and entertainment.
